When it comes to glassware you are a master genius, I struggle with glass, and I am afraid to pay top dollar when I know so little about glass. I do, however, enjoy the pieces prior to the 1900's exceedingly beautiful. Thank you, Dr. Lori for letting us know about opening the cabinet to let out the heat, I never knew this bit of important information.

Wow, you're my favorite already for glass learning! Since I was younger I had a habit of collecting glass that I thought was "neat". Finally came to terms with it yesterday and now I want to be able to know more and distinguish pieces. This is my first video but I learned so much, loved the comedy and it was interesting!! I loved the $800 pitcher. There is little non antiques in my kitchen. When younger, I shopped antiques stores a lot.

Dr. Lori is the best. She has helped me identify real treasures for me and my family. Thanks to Dr. Lori, I just found out a $2 print I bought at a thrift store is really worth $500!! Incredibly helpful and a great teacher for the everyday buyer trying to better themselves and those they love. Dr. Lori does great work.

Dr. Lori, if you read this, I have been loving your videos, I enjoy your candor and personality. Have been emptying my parents house, my mother had tons of items that had been passed down through generations, my friends wanted to sell it all for 1 and 2 dollars but I was not sure I wanted to do that. So I boxed up a lot of it and put it aside. Sadly my mother had a stroke and can't tell me anything about what she had. Of course I cant keep everything but interesting to know what it is worth. Actually though, I just love old stuff. It has personality and someones hard work and memories.. Thank you for your videos!!

I never knew about the heat thing! I hardly ever open my murano display cupboards...in fact they're all zip-tied closed so the kids and grandkids don't break anything. Oh, and talking about heat, I'm in Australia...😐

Ive been an antique dealer for ten years, got involved in a couple of Co-ops, in which we are needed to produce our own items. I tend to do the pricing a little less than my knowledge. Dr. Lori; people think my family is weird. When we travel, our favorite thing is going to thrift stores. I have a niece who lives in England. Thrift stores there are usually very small, but fun looking for treasures. I bought a beautiful flow blue plate in Tun, Switzerland at a junk store for abt. $5. It was very old with an Egyptian pattern.

Yes more Vaseline glass ! or more specifically more uranium glass ! I want to see how any of these glow in blacklight ! Dr. Lori does all glass that floreces under black light mean it's made with uranium? Or is it just before the 1940s?
