I will die on a hill defending this movie. Yeah, it’s childish and obnoxious to some but I also think it had heart in the right place and it had a nice message to it. Also Fred could have been played by worse actors than Rik Mayall. I actually liked how by the end of the movie Fred drops the childish act and tells Liz to let him go. It was a very well acted moment.

You have to be born in 1980 That way you were 10 when it came out otherwise you would have missed it entirely And it was the most amazing movie ever I blame this movie for my Adult taste in men hilarious and slightly perverted
