Says WHO?! It is NEVER the same for ALL people. "You don't "belong" in a nightclub", because you have children? Who are you, to tell all the thirtysomething women with children what they should or shouldn't do? When it's in a "normal" way, I don't see ANY problem. With "normal", I mean: you discuss it with your partner. You go out once in a while, not three times a week. You make sure your children NEVER see you drunk or under the influence of anything. It doesn't disrupt your life. It doesn't have impact on your health, job, relationships with loved ones and it doesn't get you into trouble with the law or in dangerous situations. If all that is ok, I don't see a problem.

Why is it wrong for his daughter to watch the kids? I bet that the daughter could babysit other peoples kids. If the mother goes out and parties with her friend 1-2 times a month, she can. She doesn't have to stay out until 6 in the morning, I agree with that. If the husband wasn't so insecure he would be ok with that. I am 57 years old and have been married for 21 years. If I want to go out and party with girlfriends sometimes that is what I will do. I don't have a problem with my husband going out with his friends. I'm from Sweden but have lived in South Carolina for 22 years. I do think it's a lot different here when it comes to what a married woman should and shouldn't do.

Fast forward, once they (x 3) were in High School got part time jobs for my own pin-money to be a little more independent that way, regardless money was not a big issue by then. Now 54 years later still married, hubby of course is retired and sure we hit a few speed bumps along the way but nothing we weren't able to negotiate as a couple (as Dr. Phil would say). All said; do hope these young couples will be able to work through their problems and 'they live happily ever after together' as it is possible to do if you do it as a team (as you know).

I lived with a man that wouldnt do anything to help me with our child or anything around the house he was out aat the bar every night i was always alone. He controlled everything if i complained he would beat me i stayed because of our daughter they tell you you cant make it without them i only had an 8th grade education and worked as a waitress my parents were dead i had no one. It took 20 years for me to break loose it took all the strength i had to leave i had money a position with him able to give my daughter everything. When i left that key on the table and closed the door i k rw my life would change forever. I live now in freedom i live in poverty now im on social security now and somedays i dont eat but its been worth it i would tell anyone to leave live in a tent if you have to male or fe.ale get out. I used to think i didnt deserve better. But now i know i have value. I walk 2 miles to get groceries i had to sell my car to pay bills but the freedom i feel when im walking alone i look at the sky and thank god for the strength he gave me.

He only sometimes ironed my Aunty's work uniform. On the weekends when my Aunty worked my Uncle would be at the library with his mother. When he was at home he watched tv, DVDs and read books. He didn’t even mow the lawn or do any gardening or handyman work also. Second husband whining about having a child in his arms while trying to unload groceries from the cart, and the other workers feeling sorry for him so they helped him. Lol. Dude. I’ve seen women with a baby on their back, a baby on their hip, and others hanging on their legs…getting it all done without a pity party from the bag boys. This man is special.

I have no problem with the second couples son taking out the trash. I did that as a kid and did housework and even learned to cook and bake as I grew up. I have a problem with the husband saying his wife is lazy for not taking out the trash and their son repeating that. He will grow up saying that to his mom and that is not right.

I worked and cooked , cleaned, raised kids and never went out to clubs. I loved being married and raising my family. So did my mom and all aunts, grandmas, friends. We were happy to live like that!!! Are we just boring trapped and dumb!
