I lost my aunt to breast cancer 2 years ago. I honestly hope that this new treatment will ultimately help women with breast cancer. I honestly wish that cancer never existed.

I’m 34 triple negative brca 1 positive and I’m starting this med 1/10 after completing 4 rounds of AC chemo and 12 taxol and a double mastectomy there was still residual tumor remaining. I’m so thankful this gives triple negative patients another tool to hopefully stay around longer for our families.

Hi Kimberly! I'm also 34, tnbc, brca1 positive. Finishing chemo June 1st. I just asked my doctor this week about Lynparza and if it's something I should be taking. He has to get back to me, but I'm hoping so. I'll be pushing for it. Thanks for sharing 🙂 Also, is your insurance paying for the cost of this medicine?

I’m on it now to hopefully prevent a recurrence of my triple negative breast cancer. Yes it’s cray expensive. But I’m not paying anything with my insurance combined with the drug company’s copay assistance program.
