Best drummer? Thats understatement. Eloy is exquisite choice for knot. You can see how heavy he hits? Damn..so powerful yet so precise! I have said this before 6yrs ago and ill say it again Heavy metal drummer king! Now becomes a God💥💯🤘

Agreed. Ever since Joey was removed from the band. They had been lacking. Again no offense to Jay. He was good. But Joey was great. And Eloy is just as great. If not even better than Joey was. RIP Joey!!!!

This guy is most excellent so so powerful every stroke nothing but pure power perfect for slipknot check out some of the slipknot videos of him playing they bring those songs alive. Cory is never had more energy than he has right now and years most excellent.

Though all the double bass insanity... he maintains a groove, It's not a robot hitting doubles, he's putting a rhythm in it. some youtube played it back at 1/2 speed and man, you hear it there.

One thing that gets me about Eloy is how consistent he is with how hard he hits, there's never a moment where he hits a little lighter, he's just like a machine! Dude blows my mind! I am a huge fan of Jay Weinberg but slipknot actually upgraded!

Eloy has his own language, for now, we are only seeing his flavor in songs that already exist, but if there is a new album, and they give creative freedom, we will see a new phase of the band!

Eloy Casagrande é disparadamente o melhor baterista do mundo na atualidade. Ele parece um metrônomo humano de tanta precisão e técnica, isso sem contar na sua pegada e agressividade enquanto toca. Nada contra Jay Weiberg, mas ele era fraco e tocava as músicas fora do tempo, aceleradas. Com o Eloy as músicas voltaram à serem tocadas no tempo, com pegada e precisão, ele é muito melhor que o Jay Weiberg.

joey had a feel, grove and dynamics. This is a machine click track on volume 10, which is great for a lot of metal. Not sure about slipknot, well for the old, would love to hear a new song.

Don’t get me wrong he is truly a beast, but I always wonder whether these kinds of drummers can play with subtlety and swing like a great jazz drummer or play a deep pocket groove or even a nice Latin groove. Just curious.

If i’m not mistaken there’s a video of eloy in Drumeo titled “Applying Brazilian Rhythms to Metal | Eloy Casagrande” where he shows a lot about the brazilian music. And it has a nice groove about it. You should definitely watch it.
