Dawn Morse of Core Elements Training demonstrates Dry Needling technique to the Plantar Fascia. This is a useful technique for the treatment of plantar fasciitis and generalised plantar foot pain or discomfort.
Dry Needling techniques are useful in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain, tension and hypertonicity and is a useful modality for the treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders.
Prior to the application of the needles the area is cleansed with antibacterial gel (as shown on the trolly within the video) or an alcohol swab. Hands are also sanitised. This was all completed prior to the video.
