I would prefer to hear brilliant social satirists like George Carlin & Bill Hicks over some trite low brow mediocre corny gimmicky comic like this guy. But in your regressed reptilian cortex, the important thing is he doesn't offend your delicate sensibilities & say a naughty curse word.

@@JohnJohnson-mo4bn, it’s good for the soul to laugh just to be laughing. And another thing, Mr. Johnson, I,too, am a southerner and we don’t speak to other’s (or write) in a rude or hurtful manner. We are taught to treat people with respect, like please, and thank you! We walk down the street and speak to strangers, like, Hello, ma’am, it’s a beautiful day today. Things like that. We do “slow living “ and if it’s a Friday at noon in a little southern town, forget about getting something fixed or bought because everyone has gone fishing or hunting depending on the season. But Sunday is church time, with a good family dinner, after that, maybe a nap, cause you must be back at church by 6:00 pm! Not a bad way to live. It would help y’all’s nervous system if you would take some pointers from us. Might not be so many killings either.

Got to say, I’m not a huge fan of vulgarity, just don’t find anything funny about it. Seems like it just adds to the word count but not the substance - Sort of feel overtly short changed. But a well delivered act where every word counts and builds the performance is just class and pure talent.

@@thestocksource8393 Josh Sneed is one of my most favorite, I watched his routine countless time and still laughing hard (especially at the swinging door joke, when he started to sing 🤣). I wish there's more of him here in KZfaq... Fred Klett and Shayne are hilarious too, some of the comedians that I also watched multiple times.

Loveeeed this comedian! 💯💯💯 I'm an Alabamian born and raised and I have to say, there's nowhere else in the US that has folks with a natural sense of humor that can cause ya to chuckle like the Deep South does. I lived in N Va for many years, near DC, and now and then would scoot to my fave Deep South states for a reprieve. Folks further south are more hospitable, beautiful southern accents, and have a sense of balancing work and living life with humor. Good cooking, too! Proud to be a southern gal!

I've been all over. People are the same everywhere. There is zero difference other than your behaviour vs their reaction. Also spent summers in Georgia ,Florida , Missouri and Alabama. Mighty white of you to think the south is hospitable heh. To my fellow whities sure... Others not so much... Pretty much the entire south and Midwest ..
