DSG dq250 6 speed problem

Grinding/ whining sound on selection of D, R or S mode. On driving engages gear with loud thud and jerks forward. Once gear is engaged car drives in gear as normal. On shifting gear upwards it makes a grinding/ whining sound revving slightly higher before engaging gear.

Thanks for posting this. Seems I have issues similar but luckily less severe, and have been suspecting the mechatronic unit.

The issue was with the mechatronics solenoid. Three solenoids were changed. The two gearshift solenoids and the pressure one. After that a recalibration was done using Ross tech.

@@Anonymous-vo6dg Considering it was a recall I'm sure it wasn't a huge cost to him. But I know it can be 2-5 grand usd for a mechatronics replacement including labor.
