Compare Phil's behavior towards his fans to someone like Markiplier (who honestly annoys me a lot, but is nevertheless a consummate professional and very loving to his fans) and you'll understand why Markiplier has literally 90 times as many subscribers. Of course, Phil's sub count is a joke when you compare it to pretty much anyone. There are random ASMR people who make a living rubbing random shit next to a microphone who have more subs, because they're not, you know, complete assholes.
