During the Spring Gathering of the Dark Timber Brotherhood, there were a few people that wanted to build a fire using the bow drill. I was caught on camera showing the proper technique of using a bow drill.
It was a Great weekend full of laughs and a BUNCH of food!!!

I've done a primitive fire class. Now I carry lighters in my pockets and bags and stashed in my shoe and everywhere else! Skinney makes it look easy. Good work!
