I approve 100% what this man explains here. In many african villages, we collect water from wells and it's absolutely purified and has great taste.

If God made man on the 6th and woman later and if she was sergicly removed from man.who is clearly made from dust.she has to be a superior mode l of us.then a man can 😅rest on the 7th got it😅

I believe women are the superior to man captain because without them we would have nothing to filter our water through and that means bad seed 😢

Needs a double layer or even triple layer of filtration with sand and charcoal and the charcoal should be a powder

Fresh fruits are the best way to get your hydration when water is scarce. I foind when all I ate was raw fruits and veggies, of course nuts and seeds too , I was less thirsty or not at all. thirsty

Definitely a huge difference in "clean " and "sterile" But this is perfect for naturally cleaning water, it would be interesting to find a way to naturally filter boiling water

Another 2 liter filled with fine charcoal placed directly under that pre filter will take out heavy metals and bacteria, but a rolling boil will guarantee safety..

isnt charcole the most important part of that filter? crushed charcole would be what makes most of our filters nowadays.

I like to put a piece of 100% cotton bandanaor t-shirt or a couple of layers of pantyhose or cheesecloth in between the charcoal and sand to help catch any bigger cuunks.

Excellent stuff! A must skill to master and grow confidence in its method for use. I love watching and learning about this type of survival method. After all, the most important of all the survival lessons is to find drinking water. And this water filtering method is genius. I am very honoured to learn more about this type of method. I saw a video on KZfaq not long ago, where I believe this Thai man was using x4 water barrels with the same filtering methods. Stones, Sand, charcoal and something else and he showed how to set it up. It was pure genius. Again, Bear Grylls touched on this type of survival skill just a little bit. where he would use a sock filled with charcoal and dirt to do a fast water filtering method for that running survivor type of scenario. So, it is really refreshing to see your video which gave everyone a chance to learn this method in more detail. Excellent stuff and great job!

If the sand is very fine, e.g. sand from the beach, it will float out with the water. Even a cotton layer is only of limited help here. I would actually leave out the sand, unless it is coarse river sand, and double the charcoal layer instead.

If I am going to boil the water, all I need is a handkerchief to filter it. This is better but much more time consuming.
