Hey Y'all, In this video I will be using and showing how well and affective this knife is. Made By Bark River Knives, Designed By Peter Kohler and the sheath designed by Dave Raffensperger. This is My NEW Favorite Blade, it handles nicely, very comfortable and fits very well. For a large knife it has the feel of a smaller knife. Feel free to comment and ask question. Thank Yall

It is a good knife that looks fantastic. I trust the 3v steel will hold, but the tip is rather thin. My Griz came with some sharp corners at the end of the handle. The balance is perfect and it is unbelievably light for its size. That said, I enjoyed your review, but the Grizzly is among one of the best knives I own just not quite the best though.

@survivalontheskinney7832 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment, I agree with you on the thin tip but so far I have not had any problems at all with the tip rolling or bending. I really enjoyed putting her to the test and have worked it hard on numerous occasions, I am looking forward to getting my hands on Peter Kohlers new Mid-Tech blades, I believe the Honey Badger will become my most favorite blade of all time. (We will See) Have a great day

Also, to add something: Not trying to correct you or anything, but it's not really a true "production" knife. It's more along the lines of what's called a "mid-tech" knife, i.e. half way between custom and production. There are only going to be a few hundred knives made per run, whereas a true production knife run consists of thousands of knives. Like I said, not trying to knock you or anything, I just thought I'd help you out a little. Love the video brother.

Thank You for correcting me on this, You are MOST correct in stating that it is a mid-tech (I learned something), I didn't know the TRUE name or what to call something in-between "Mass-Production" and "Custom". Thanks Again For your support and I am Very Happy You enjoyed the video Sir.

Dat's a beauty. I'm wondering what the price is? 425.00 I'm guessing.
@survivalontheskinney7832
@survivalontheskinney7832 7 жыл бұрын
The price point does vary depending on the scales, pins and sheath treatment that you choose, the range is from the low 200's up to the mid 500's all depends on what you order sir. Either way they are well worth the money IMHO. Thanks for commenting sir.

I enjoy large knives myself. Do you know of any prominent experts who use them? I would like to hear their philosophy
@survivalontheskinney7832
@survivalontheskinney7832 7 жыл бұрын
Alan Kay, Nichole Apelian, EJ Snyder, Art Dawes, Creek Stewart just to name a couple off the top of my head that carry large knives. I myself carry large knives as well especially on "Knife +1" weekends or when I am out scouting. To Me a Large knife = more cutting area, usually the back 1/3 of any knife edge sees more use than the tip or middle of the blade edge so the larger blades provides me with more edge to use whether processing food, building traps - snares - furniture or processing firewood. Thanks for the Question and Comment, I hope I have answered your question.

Say Heah, Definitely a Beauty, I like knives also, Infact I just got a notice my W. C. Master Woodsman, I made some Suttle differences, I'm teaming it with a knife that almost L@@Ks like a Gasconade, I think both will match great. But I'm still using my knives that I used over tge weekend, I took them out today to put some more time with them, I used them on my Afternoon Delight, some coffee and a good cigar. The set I I seem not being able to put down, are my Fox Combat Jungle Knife and my Fox Pro Hunter a near perfect matching combo. Keep up the good work, I enjoyed your video.,,. p
