I have both systems "PS4 and XBO" but i have to say that Sony PS4 is way better, best controller ever made and the most elegant console.

The light in combination with the camera gives them a PSMove + Navigation controller right out of the box. This opens up so many new gaming possibilities, and would make next gen much more innovative. I love sitting on the couch and experiencing an epic game like God of War, but I also find something like Sorcery to be very new and exciting. We need both to keep the industry and the platform fresh.

Hope there's another. Haven't talked about the sticks, the new directional pad, or elaborated on the trigger buttons. Looms like it has a textured feel to it, which seems like it could be very nice.

Just love it! Love the dualshock3 and this looks like a great step forward. Maybe a premium (more expensive) version will have a screen where the touch pad is for no other reason than it being awesome.

It is a sensor and can be used with the camera to enhance games etc. It also changes colour to say which player you are

PS4 is awesome

Very interesting features, but my big worry is for the lightbar. When the split-screens swap, I'm worried that will add to the confusion among the players. Is there a way you can turn that feature off if you don't want it? I could care more or less about the touchpad, although it's nice, but what I like most is that Share feature. If you make videos or screenshots, can you also save them to the system so you can relive your own moments yourself? Very interesting stuff, BTW. Keep it up!

The touchpad, it can also be clicked, serves as both start button and used for other fancy stuff.

I've had one of these since 2014. It's the COD: Black Ops 3 edition and I still use it today and it still works like new.

and today the dualsence 5 controller released

it's only a feature the light can be used for alot of other things all are up to the developers for example it turns red which can be used to alert the player about his ingame health

The move technology is much faster,accurate and works kind of in a different way though, also this technology was going to be released in Playstation 2 eye but they only did the body capture thing because a controller wasn't needed

Honestly, I like it. I prefer my dualshock 2 & 3 analog stick layout to Xbox, as its natural and comfy, but going back to concave (ps1) was a smart move grip wise. And R2 and L2 finally being triggers, instead of kinda triggers is great for Grand Theft Auto and bioshock. Touchpad looks gimmicky, but who knows what devs'll do. Speaker probably won't benefit me much, as I already have a headset, but resembles the Wii mote speaker.

Lol best controller ever sony. No I'm serious. Analog slick rubber peels off and everything. My right trigger is hard to press in now and is pretty much useless. Truly the dualshock 4 is the controller of the century! (Look I'm joking, but I'm not kidding about my controller tho. Everything is just easily breakable and that's BAD)

I could care less for the speaker on the remote, but the touch pad seems to be a good idea. When I first heard of it, I too didn't like the idea. But it can be used to interact with motions in the game. Knack, Watch Dogs, Killzone...I can only imagine the possiblities

What happened to the Start and Select button? Will they be on the touch pad?

i dunno if its just me but my dualshock 4's analog stick is very slippery...ummm...yeah

This controller is a huge improvement over the Dual Shock 3 in most areas. That said, I hate the light bar and the Touch Pad. Imo, they're pointless features that do nothing for gameplay and just waste battery life, which battery life is one of those areas that the Dual Shock 4 is behind the Dual Shock 3.

ps4 controller is much better then xbox controller

I think the Dualshock 4 is working like DualShock 3. So with bluetooth technology. Some features will require the camera like the changing light on the back that recognises players etc. At least, thats what i think

Can someone answer this for me: Does the headphone jack play game audio or just chat room audio? i.e. can we plug headphones into the jack and listen to the game's sounds through that rather than out loud or having to plug into the PS console itself?
