I appreciate it so much when I can hear the sounds of life and not obnoxious "theme music". It's so much more enjoyable.

I really like how you have managed to include wee snippets of information here and there. Gives people a bit of an idea, without really going on too much.

Our family used to travel by ferry across to Ireland every Summer from the 60's onwards,originally from Lverpool. latterly it became flying and hiring cars but it still remains as a life memory.

At least you show the amenities of the ship better than in other videos of yours I've seen. Wow! Big Breakfast! Bangers, scrambled eggs, beans, toast, and bacon! That would have set me right for the day! How much that set you back, mate? I like seeing the port surroundings, the other ships you pass, the scenery you pass, but you seem to skimp on showing what's on board! If I want to take that trip I like to know what I have at my disposal, from a real passenger's point of view, not some glossy ad on the vendor's website!

The Stena Adventurer is probably the best ferry I have ever being on. I have travelled on it many times with my father when I would go in the lorry with him. The staff are easy to get on with and they give you plenty of grub in the Trucker's Lounge, especially at dinner time, and the food is of great quality. In the Trucker's Lounge also, we used to have a great laugh with the staff and other lorry driver's. I have nothing bad to say about the Stena Adventurer.

I haven't been able to find much user comments about deck seating our of doors. Are the three plastic benches shown in this video the only outside seating on the Adventurer? How about the Superfast X?

Wow, Looked like a half rough crossing? Good video anyways. 9:00 Cool sound when she is turning around!

Thanks for watching Kevpa, the sea was fairly calm that day even though the sky looked dull.The adventurer was a big ship and didn’t rock much.

I been on this ferry in 2013 and now I moved to Australia and I feel so emotionally upset when I recollect that amazing memories of my 18 years stay in Ireland, which I started from Castlebar, Co mayo and finished in Drogheda. I am born Indian but I love more Ireland than my birth country as that country gave me everything I wished for. I am so upset leaving this country

I never eat or drink anything until I'm out in the middle of the sea. I remember before I ate breakfast leaving port and boy did I pay the price when the ship got out it was rough as hell I was throwing up everywhere. Sailing on a rough sea is not the most pleasant of experiences. She can get really rough out there on the Irish sea.
@piper80574 жыл бұрын
Hello, and thank you for your video! I was wondering if they check your passport upon disembarking the ship. I'm going to take this route soon, and want to be prepared. Thank you again 😊

lovely video, was there a passport control when you take the ferry? Is passport required?
@msmarinediesel18435 жыл бұрын
Think you need some form of ID, I brought my passport
@europa2000man4 жыл бұрын
Usually, the people at check-in don't look at identification, however, make sure you do bring some form of it (like a passport or a driver's licence). The check in people are usually nice but there is one or two (particularly in Dublin Port) that will look for identification. If you go by Irish Ferries, they will always look for identification because they are not as friendly as Stena Line are (at least not in the last 10 years).
