It always cracks me up. Ducati Desert-X is a great bike. You just need to upgrade… front suspension, rear suspension, wheels, tyres, exhaust system, steering damper, seat, bars, engine protection, radiator protection, footpegs, front fender, rear fender, and some other things. Other than that, it’s really great 😂
@NikTheSlick6 ай бұрын
well.. that depends 100% on what you are asking from an ADV bike right?? I don't see a difference between the DDX and basically any other bike out there. A stock T7 works great for some people, however anybody going real off-road most likely will tweak their bike in a number of ways
@axamitidynamit83556 ай бұрын
@@NikTheSlick right, but DDX is supposed to be top of the top, isn’t it? The price surely suggests that. Also, while some changes are purely preferential, others seem necessary. Maybe it’s just me, but if I’m expected to pay top money for a bike, I’d like to get a top bike. From what I’m seeing, you kept the engine and the frame. Oh yes, the tank as well as the accessory was too expensive [understandably so, even though I really wanted to see how it looks]. All the other parts have been replaced or upgraded. That’s a bit more than just some "tweaking", imho :) Anyway, I’m really looking forward to seeing the finished product. I feel like it’s gonna be the best DDX out there :)
@NikTheSlick6 ай бұрын
@@axamitidynamit8355 Mate I completely feel you! Let's be honest, by nature you already pay extra bucks for the Ducati logo. That's just how it is. And also, a lot of things I did to this bike are not crucial. Exhaust, Suspension, engine guards and maybe wheels is what sb should think about changing when taking this thing offroad. Anything else is a plus. I just felt like building the ultimate big bike offroad predator, and that's how I ride this thing :)
