Follow your heart I say. Sadly I don't have a garage (envious of those who do) but I still have a 2014 GS. I just keep it under a cover and nice and clean and protected and not had any issues re corrosion etc. I tried to compromise in the past and get cheaper bikes but I was always dissatisfied with something about them whether it was power, tech, looks etc... Gotta follow your heart with bikes.

Merry Christmas. A 5mm thick rubber flooring mat. With a hi level brand cover. And a Netherland cover protected by a plastic replaceable tarp works very well indeed. Half a dozen plastic medium size clamps and 4 round tube shape buggies. Also brim metal fuel injected petrol tanks b4 hibernation. Also XCP rust blocker clear coat, but never on tyres and wheels. It's also best to concentrate in a large ground box tube ground anchor. Good luck with your decision.
