I’ve wanted a 1000-1500w gearless rear motor and to make up for a slight lack of starting torque, a small 2 speed 350w front Xiongda motor. I’d use the front motor for take off’s and hill climbing, the rest of the time It’d be the silent beast.

If anyone needs reassuring that ebikes are "worth it" ...I have a suggestion that may help ease the mind a bit. Go attempt to find used ebikes in your local area. I'm willing to bet the market has less variety than you counted on. And the reason for that is simple.. basically no one ever gets rid of their ebikes. Given that they are pretty easy to flip and get at least half your money back if needed, the knowledge that people rarely get rid of their bikes suggests that people must LOVE THEM 💪

I love watching your builds. But those slots that the bolts go into on that adapter is for Hose Clamps to help alleviate stress on the bolt taps in the frame.

6:25 ahhh very nice , i had to install my new battery in reverse on my bike frame because the rivnuts dont align, i think i got the exact same battery casing for my 20ah ,and yeah that base's holes are in a very different place to my old holder

You inspired me to do a build myself. The bike, a Schwinn Dual Sport bike, 700C. I bought a CSC kit, perhaps it's not as good as the Kirby or other high end kits but I did it on a budget. It has the huge controller and bag, boo, but I think it came out nice. It's winter here and I got a break and took it out. I was impressed with the 1500 watt kit. I scream up a grade with lots of power. I got it on the level, and with a dragging break it hit 30mph and there was more, but figured it was best not to break the speed limit here. Looking forward to summer and taking my two E-bikes out for many adventures. Already thinking of next winter, thinking of another build. Can one have too many toys, I think not...

Just had a first ride on one of those Lime rental bikes Absolutely need to do an econversion on my bike now Problem is, so many kits available Mid motor or Hub? Cadence or Torque sensing Im strapped for cash so something for a decent price Will be doing a lot of urban riding to convert my Specialized MTB on, am really strapped for cash but this would be a game changer for me Had to shut down my business 3 years ago due to a personal issue and just want to get out on my bike more but my knees wont allow me to ride like i used to Just want something reliable and for a good price Not worried about top speeds, but something powerful enough to be able to do some serious off road when I want Thank you

What do you think of the sizing on the large Vitus for yourself? I'm looking at them but compared to others the reach is pretty short.

13 amps battery is so anno 2014, i bought 3 years ago 17 ah triangle battery from Em3ev and i have now 12 ah left of it. What you can do is use a traingle battery pack with traingle battery and the problem is solved :) I am sure that motor can handle more power without breaking it, and yes its very quite i love it.

Depends on the NM or torque rating. Do not be fooled if you see a road cycler pass you up over 24mph, they now sporting them on their roadbikers of motor in crankcase under sprocket or the pedals. They dress the part and into the new fad but stick to the crankcase motors of being discreet.

You can ues 52v 20amp with 1000wat watt motor it's the controller 32amp ice got 2000wat kit came with that controller 52v 20amp battery 35mph now I used 45amp controller 43mph. I bought fat tyre bike with long seat 750wat is it worth going to 1000wat 52v 20amp battery it's the controller I'm not sure of. I no 1000wat motor is OK with 52v 20amp it makes it faster over 30mph it's using controller I've got spare 35amp.+2amp controller

Yes, it's worth it. It has good acceleration and fast enough to keep with up with street traffic (35mph+). You can't ride the highway anyway and bicycles are not stable for prolonged high speeds..

We've been doing fine with 350 w.... I think this thousand watt stuff is just advertisement bulshit.

I bought a nice hybrid bike = Vitus but due to health problems it's painful to ride because of the amount of effort going up hill. Kills me straight so I got a 500w 48v kit with a triangle 20 ah battery because I don't trust the bottle holder bolts. Hopefully it will work well and last well.

I'm more impressed with a 26x4.0 fat tire e bike I got from amazon!😆lol...1000w, 48v, 15.6ah, 748.8wh, 30°, 75nm, 31mph top speed with out pedaling .only thing that I didn't like where the brakes, for something that big and fast I feel they should have bin Hydraulic brakes......but...BUT best part iI forgot to mention was the price NEW $680 to my front door after taxes delivery and all. Had it 1month (no more than 2) I've put 300+ miles into it no problems probably 200+ of them miles pulling 2 kids buke don't feel over loaded and have reached speeds of 27mph pulling them(will go faster) With just throttle.i would like to compare it to more expensive ones to see if it's really worth spending the $1500+ extra

With a 1000wat kit upgrade controller and battery 32mph even more some people put a 52V 20amp battery on a 1000wat motor and it moves like stink. I've got 2000wat that does 51mph wich I'm selling for fat tyre 1000wat 48v 20amp from amazon and see how it goes it the 20ins wheel and long seat I'm after comfort now it has suspension all round so I'm going to up grade to 32mph that will do me I'm getting older I've had the 200wat bike kit for three years I've been next to police cars in traffic and nothing said even looked at the bike because I've got my bike as normal as possible and ride at 17mph they can't do nothing if using throttle at high speed then some will stop you.
