BTW on the Sabvoton, you need to decrease the "Throttle Mid Voltage (V)" and increase the " Throttle Mid Current (A)" It will then have more torque on the bottom end. Also not sure if you have the 72100 or 72150 controllers the 72150 will always have more torque output over the 72100. Either way, the settings I mentioned will give you more start-up power. Also if you had to reverse the motor through the app and the motor direction is on ( 1 ) and not on ( 0 ) that means the "Accelerate (MS) is reversed and so will be the Decelerate (MS). If the motor direction is on ( 0 ) then you're fine. Just mess with the first two I mentioned "Throttle Mid Voltage (V) try 1.50 and "Throttle Mid Current (A)" try 3.00 to 350. Good luck I know it will help.

Pretty cool bro, they both seem equally matched in power and speed now. Andy is a good chap.
@DudeStuff3 жыл бұрын
Yes, they are very similar for sure, Andy's feels much faster I wonder if it is because it's slightly shorter wheelbase
@FarmerFpv3 жыл бұрын
@@DudeStuff I doubt it. It's probably a setting on the controller or he might be using the 72150 controller which is able to put out more amps at startup. I would play with the settings more before you do anything drastic. I'm sure Andy knows what's up he'll get it flying for you.

Is a BMS necessary for the lipos? I am building a electric pit bike and usingf 3 x 6s lipos in series like you, but I figure if I charge them separately I dont need a BMS. As long as I keep on top of the voltage...I plan on using lipo balance lead alarms to notify me of a pack reaching 3.3v. On top of that the controller will cutoff at a preset voltage. Maybe im missing something... (also is there a video of andy making this battery setup with BMS? that would be awesome!)

I just built one of these. I switched to a 14T sprocket for wheelies. For some reason it didn't work with my Sabvoton controller so I switched to a Kelly controller. I want to upgrade the rear shock too, it's way too soft for me.

@rodneyramos82103 жыл бұрын
Cool seeing the speeds on these I followed Andy advice and did a 72150 on a razor rsf650 Brushless motor, Change the front sprocket to a 13t and back sprockets 55 the bike still wheelies off the line and top out with me on it 190lb goes 46-48.4mph on the gps.
@colinriches15192 жыл бұрын
@Cain fairly easy. It depends on your method and your fabrication skills. Personally, I would determine the most reliable method, learn that (maybe practice in a mock up) then when you're confident that you can, do it. There are forums where people share ideas, endless sphere is quite helpful.

I feel like you wanted 66.6v on purpose.... LoL Edit: Also I think I found out your acceleration problem... You are spinning the rear tire the whole time. 🤣 Get on concrete and get a good launch and play w/ the settings... You got a nice bike, I'm kind of jealous you got a friend like Andy as well. I had to build up my bike and rewire it myself. 😂🤣 I'm at the point of wanting a 50mph bike now... 72v 3000w kit w/ an 80v greenworks battery, Full lights and turn signals w/ horn and a different battery box/body cover so I can try to get it registered as a Moped. 😁

Is there anyway to cram 4 batteries in for more run time? And what sort of run time are you getting?
@DudeStuff3 жыл бұрын
Could cram in another 1 if I move the bms but would give me more top speed in this configuration which I don't need lol it's not a motorway cruiser
@bademann12 жыл бұрын
Adding 1 more pack in series would increase top end power but not necessarily extend range. It would still be 12ah. He could run 2 parallel pairs in series to jump to 24ah but the peak power would drop down to 44v.
