This week we visited Dudley Zoo and Castle in the Black Country region of the West Midlands. It is home to more than 1300 animals, and has around 200 species, including giraffe, lions, tigers, orangutans and some of the rarest creatures on planet. As always our day out review looks to find out what this zoo is like and if it's worth the ticket price.

As I was Born and Live in South Staffordshire I've been here a dozen or so times over the years. It has changed over years, I remember when they had Wolves, Dolphins, Killer Whale, Polar Bears and 2 elephants. Definitely 9/10. And been to W M Safari Park 4 times, BOTH are 9/10

Killer whales and dolphins... wow. Just can't imagine that! They are both worth while days out. We just had such a great time at West Midlands Safari Park, when we went that it's hard for other places to compete. All just our opinion, based of singular visits, however. Looks interesting, a good mixture of animals. Glad they haven't got polar bears in that enclosure. Never been to Dudley Zoo maybe should take a look. Like the castle ruin setting adds another dimension to the zoo.

Absolutely, the castle and architecture make it quite unique, but in terms of zoos, there are probably better options nearby. Thanks for watching!
