This is the opening and closing credits of season 2 of The Dukes of Hazzard. Sonny Shroyer has been added to the cast listing, after having guest star billing in season 1.

tvpirate05 funny story about roscoes chuckle on the warner bros. logo and in the show.. James best had said that was a sound he used to make when he'd chase his kids around the house lol pretty awesome that he turned a memory with his kids into an iconic sound from the 80's .. gotta love that roscoe 😊

I love the season one end credits by the Waylors. The end is filmed all in Covington Georgia. I like more Than season 2.

I remember running home from the school bus to catch the last 15 minutes of this show everyday. That was back in '97 when I was 6. Wish they would air some re-runs of this show.

The Season 2 end credits theme is one of the greatest things ever to come from this show (aside from the show itself). Wish the incidental music throughout the show took more inspiration from it.

I grew up watching Tom & Jerry, Dukes of Hazard, Knight Rider, A-Team, Airwolf, V, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers, etc. These were real TV shows, entertainment, comedy, adventure, thrill, etc.

@gamingproduction4231 Early in the series, they used the AMCs, however they eventually switched to the other ones. The end credits sequence is taken from a 1st season episode.

Nice, friggin CLASSIC. Loved the episodes with Enos, he was young like Daisy... and it was entertaining to see him, try to court Daisy and flash a big ole smile, whenever she entered the room. To me, this show "jumped the shark" when he left the show, and got replaced with Cletus or Clitoris, lol... Cletus was a fat, goofy-looking, bumbling buffoon who never had the same Deputy sidekick charm to Roscoe, like Enos did. Once, they started replacing the original cast members, some seasons, this show looked desperate. Although, I would watch the Dukes, ANY day... compared to the crap we have on TV, now. Reality shows are for LOSERS who have no reality or life of their own. LOL

boofdfast I didn't hate Cletus per say...but I agree, in season 5 when Enos was brought back and it once again became him and Roscoe, the show was whole again.

They didn’t replace John Schneider and Tom Wopat because they wanted to. Tom and John went on strike in the ‘84 season due to what they now admit was bad advice by their then agents. Had they not gotten bad advice I bet the show would have run through ‘86 or ‘87. Ratings had gone down for ‘85 but the diehards (like me) were heartbroken to see it end.
