I agree, he is so fucking good lyrically, and his beats/production are on fucking point. He is just held back in america because he is an asian american rapper. If he were african american with the same music he would be off the charts. He has to sellout to korea at some point to hit that potential mass fame, but I don't think thats his motive.

What I find very interesting about this MV is the way it subverts the cutesy kpop MV visual language with its contrastingly vulgar lyrical content. It many ways, it teases out DFD's own possible views of native Korean music and the differences in the approaches that native Korean culture and Korean American culture have when it comes to artistic creation. I've always been a fan of DFD and it's great that he keeps doing interesting and catchy stuff like this.
