HOLY GUACAMOLE PEEPS THIS DIVE WAS A CRAZY ONE THAT IS FOR SURE!!!! I have never in my diving days ever had a manager size me up and stare me down like I murdrered her family the way this lady did! You would of thought I did her so dirty but all I did was take some OF THE STORES TRASH?!?!?! YES TRASH she was that angry over TRASH.... I will never understand the reason why 🤷🏻‍♀️... But either way it was TOTALLY WORTH IT, LOL, BECAUSE WE FINALLY SCORED HUGE!!!!! I would do it all over again too! Because we are helping people in need with items that would just end up in our landfills so why let that happen???? Right? Right!

My daughter works at a Dollar General and she doesn’t care about people getting in her dumpster. There’s a lot of homeless around there and even gives them drinks for like 10c . She sees the waste that gets thrown out and it hurts her heart. It’s only going to get worse .

The fact that she was sizing you up AND THEN CHASED AFTER YOUR CAR makes her an unsafe person FOR SURE. I'm really impressed with how calmly you stood up for yourself while keeping yourself safe. I hope that Beths heart is healing, we miss her banter❤️

Why in the world do those stores throw out brand new clothes. That is so ridiculous. The top brass of those companies have obviously never been down on their luck and needed a helping hand. Good for you and others like you who rescue those perfectly good items and donate to others. Thank you!!!

my wife and I went to the d g store and found a mega haul in the dumpster.found a case of Texas toast and a case of cheese and two gallons of milk and a half gallon of orange juice and half a case of launch meat and six gallons of ice cream 🍦 still good and the dates are good for another month or two . keep on diving and stay safe

Here's how I see it: If any of Shannon's peeps recognized the Manager from the DG that was so mean to her there may be a drop in business at that store. No one want's to support a business that is so mean to someone who is just trying to help others.

Prayers to the Dumpster God. That manager needed to get off her high horse and respect those who try to help others. As full as that container was , they should have been nice about it being gone through and nicely should have asked you to leave. But calling you "trash" was an insult to you. Glad you got some great donations for those you help.

Awesome finds today Shannon. That manager needs to be brought down a few pegs. If it was me, I would be calling,head office and file a serious complaint about how you were treated. I would also tell them that they should be donating instead of throwing good stuff out. Telling them what you do to help others in need. Put those torn bags of potting soil and other garden center items with torn bags in a cardboard box or tote. - I used to bring home torn bags with reduced price stickers all of the time.

Great haul Shannon. Persistence pays off. That manager had an evil look in her eyes for sure. She should have let it go after you said ok and started walking away.. But girl don't lie, your claws came out after she was mouthing off. I could hear in your voice that you would have thrown down with her if started something. And coming after your car, crazy. She's lucky it was you and not someone who would not have walked away, or pulled a knife or gun on her. With what's happening in the world right now and prices going sky high, more people may start looking to the dumpsters to feed their families. Someone like that could take her out and that guy too. Please be safe out there Shannon be careful and keep your head on a swivel, watch your six. I feel so bad for Beth and her loss of Gracie and I miss seeing her with you. Praying for God to ease her pain.

If your fixing to get rain , I would suggest going outside and spraying the ground with the water hose .this prepares the ground to except more water..

Just watched another driver pick up or going to pick up some soft drinks in cans just like them you have to be careful because they swell in the heat and they do explode safe diving

The attitude of that manager was uncalled for, Shannon. You handled it well. Some people shouldn't have jobs of authority. It goes to their heads. She looked like a miserable person to work with.
