Another great haul! Dang! 3 in a row and with all your donations , what a score! Yes you do have the best subs!!! Lol...it warms my heart to see and know all this stuff is going for those in need. Just yesterday I walked past a homeless man sitting on the sidewalk and he had no socks or shies on. I stopped and asked him where his socks and shoes were,(it was a tad cold). He said they were stolen off his feet while he was sleeping. I walked to the nearest Walgreens and bought him a pkg if socks. They had no shies but found him a pair of slippers. I walked back to him and he was just getting ready to leave but caught him in time and handed them to him. He thanked me but odd like. Not sure if ir was because of his pride, if it was just so unexpected or what. I asked him if they were OK and when he looked at me I saw his face was a little red and tears in his eyes so then I knew why. I just touched his shoulder and said take care and left him be. I knew he was happy but didn't want me to see him cry. The feeling I had when I walked away was different, not sure how to explain it but I started to cry but then I stopped. Wasn't till later I started to feel good about what I did. I've never donated to someone directly before and I guess I was unsure if I'd done the right thing. I now look for him and have things ready to give him or anyone else.

Hello ladies, I started diving a few weeks ago after watching your videos. At first, I thought there was no way companies were truly trashing perfectly good items ESPECIALLY food!!!! Well, I went “looking for boxes” one evening and 🤯. In just three weeks of diving, I have donated 19 bags of dog food, 5 bags and almost 100 cans of cat food, 5 bags of cat litter, and other pet items to my local humane society. Before anyone asks - YES, I called my humane society BEFORE donating to make sure they can use the food and items. God blessed all of us with one plant that has a finite amount of land. Filling it with perfectly good items is not just wasteful and disheartening - it is disrespectful, especially in this day and age. (IMH) Anyway, you ladies keep ballin’. Always remember, You cannot out give God! Y’all are not “lucky”. Y’all are blessed because God knows your hearts.

Hey Shannon, that chest rub or Vicks is what F.D.'s, etc use to put in their nose for bad smells, ie: decaying remains, etc...might keep some in your car for those nasty stinky dumpsters. We recently found a dead possum in a dumpster. Yuk!!! Great score girls!!! Ly guys!!! Be safe❣

I love what you and Beth do for the community by diving. Now that it's getting warmer here is a little tip for the smelly dumpsters. Use Vicks Vaper Rub under your nose. Nurses do this when they have advanced cancer patients, it decreases the smell.

I remember working at an assisted living facility and filled in overnight one night. The owners would stay there occasionally but not that night. I did call them. The fire alarm went off and I ran to see what was going on only to be met with a wall of smoke. I had to alert almost 60 people! The firemen came and so did the owners. I love that you salvage things from going to the landfill. Although most of the absolutely unhealthy and toxic candy, cookies, sodas are items that should never be consumed by humans. Not trying to be negative, just concerned with all of our health! They are consistently putting things in our “food” that is nothing short of poison and so many are overweight, diabetic and just toxic that these things are mainly the cause. I know everything in moderation, but this stuff should be left in the trash where it belongs.
