Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I think most security is to prevent dumping more than anything else. Dumping literally costs the company more money, while someone taking stuff out of the dumpster saves them money.

Mike ive been watching you on youtube for 3yrs & in that time ive dealt with many cancer deaths & a marriage breakdown, but yesterday my ex wife said i can see my kids finally after 10mths of not seeing my babies i get to see them soon im so happy, you & your shows & dogs have got me through some of the darkest days, thanks bud🇦🇺love from Australia

Hey Mike. As an older lady without a lot of muscle, I used the step up method I learned from you to help me lift a dishwasher into my trailer. Yes, I know that they aren't that heavy, but am having arm issues. So used a air fryer in the box, to step it up. Made it so much easier. Thank you so much, for your tips, as well as the entertainment you bring.

At 23:10, when you loaded that box with all of those small pieces, and the bottom fell out of the box, I almost spit my coffee out.😂😂 Looks like you had a great night, high end stuff with the big extension cord and all of the aluminum and copper. Those nuts and bolts around 4:30 are for chain link fencing. And the bag at 4:38 are fence ties for hooking the fence to the top rail and posts and are aluminum. I actually have a date with a couple bags of those at 8am tomorrow. Another great video Mike. Looks like you're healed up nicely.

That flashlight at around the 27:10 mark is a mag-lite. I have one. Mine uses C or D type batteries, maybe 3 or 4 at a time. The older style ones used old fashioned bulbs (hence expensive to run), but they could be adapted to use modern LEDs to save power and the environment. That's a good torch.

I love the way you say OOOooo when you spot a find like those lights😂 I got a car full of lights diving the other day, I think us scrappers will be finding more and more as everybody replaces to the more energy efficient LED lights👍 I also love the way you say NOICE😂👍

Mike the king of the used power tools. The batteries are most likely dead and would cost too much to replace. In my travels I fixed the old packs with nickel metal hydride. I won't use Lithium Ion. There might be a new law being put in place because of all the fires. Sometimes I make up an external battery pack and make my equipment light weight.

This is my 1st time watching your channel and I want to know how you get all your energy dang because you don't slow down and you make lots of noise, but I get metal makes a lot of noise, but I'm a dumpster diver that saves foods and goods.
