Thank you brother! That means a lot. I ripped this disc and simply took the images directly off it ensuring that I captured Dolby Vision too. Moving forward, that will be my approach on all reviews and bluray to 4k side by side comparisons. Appreciate your feedback and perspective here 👍🏼

@@ungraduatedmedia For sure, the rip will contain all HDR content no matter the encoding but remember that KZfaq doesn't show any HDR whatsoever and stream the videos in SDR. Still, the color grading will remain apparent, even if muted and also the added fine details due to 4K resolution 😁

@@SteviesCornerKZfaqChannel yeah…still learning as I go. Even though you can switch into 4k viewing on KZfaq (if your device supports it) I have recently found out that it can’t retain HDR and Dolby Vision… Come on KZfaq…get with the times already 😉

Flawless! Easy 10 out of 10 for you my friend for this impeccable top notch review and content quality. The still pictures were looking great. The length of the video was perfect. Sound excellent throughout. This could be your benchmark content from here on, lol. I would anyway order this but now I'm more eager and excited to get it asap. The audio in the first part was incredibly immersive when played on my Sony HT-A9. It was better than my custom 7.1.2 setup. Thanks for doing this review brother, enjoyed it thoroughly.

I’m definitely going to get those suggestions. If I had to “align” to a spirituality or “religion” I align most with Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, and similar zen teachings of non-attachment. I think the eastern traditions and even Native American traditions had it far more figured out than our historical “western teachings.”

Don't know if you'd agree Ken, but I think the relevance in this movie (at least 1st part) was more to do with the Avatar's theme. On one side of the universe, there are these powerful oppressor, more technologically advanced rulers and on the other side, there are the native/aboriginal people/community who struggle, fight for their native land and rights as the other side try to encroach upon their land and resources. One good and clean (uncorrupted) soul from the oppressor side becomes a renegade and becomes part of the other side to help them out. Would be interesting to know how you'd take this perspective.

Agree completely- I think this narrative comes from our own history as well too. Just look at America as one example. I don’t fault any one “peoples” for their history or their way of life, but certainly seeing what Europeans did with Native Americans here in the current U.S. is one such example. I would like to think we are far more evolved today as a “consciousness” but we unfortunately still see war today. And in my humble opinion it simply isn’t necessary. It’s the human condition and constant conundrum that influences our film and production of story telling time and time again…

@@Sas-wk9lj we’re all a constant work in progress…if we choose it so 😉 I’ve done a lot of research and “searching” in this game we call life…I’ve learned a lot of things and yet the more I learn the more life eludes me. I spent 15 years researching some of life’s biggest questions. I’ve reached some points where I believed things started to make sense. And truly, as I awoke to some “truths” the world got smaller and more lonely as I realized there were likely far less people like me. Not that I’m anything special, but I “see things differently” about life now. And with that I can’t be around negative energy and I don’t take life too seriously. Wrote a book about it and published it in 2022. If you’re ever curious about truly who I am - I’ll shoot you a link for it and you can check it out 😉

Of course my friend, it'd be an honour. I'd like to order the book immediately, just let me know the title. I knew you were different from the rest. I can read people and their kind. So much what you said resonates with me. I am also an open minded person, can say already had my 'satori' (awakening) and I 'see' truth without any effort and not in the common popular idealized way of viweing it but with my unique way of seeing it. When I say that, people get angry with my interpretation, lol as I seem to be debunking the common dogmatic way of looking at things. There's a book by Lin Yutang, called 'The importance of living'. You might want to check it out. So true what you said about the more we awaken to truths, the lonelier we get being the outlier. As we go along engaging more in discussions, we will find our roads meeting at some points quite often to our ecstasy.
