That titanium nitride coding is very hard, it’s the same stuff they put on drill bits to keep the edges sharper for longer. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s actually a better coating than chrome or nickel plating on those tools. I guess the bigger question is are people willing to have gold tools in their toolbox.

I used some duratech ratcheting wrenches at work daily , have had zero issues with them. I prefer them over the old 72 teeth gearwrenches…

So, your review doesn't test their fit on a fastener. Nine minutes into the video and the only thing we knew is "boy, they sure are shiny". Wow...

I've bought Duratech before. I'd rather buy Pittsburgh from Harbor Freight, at least the warranty is better.

Thanks for the video brother. I personally knew nothing about this company, I now see why. I'm not so sure they would be worth carrying to the pick and pull yard. I tried that a few years ago. Bought a set of disposable tools with the thinking that if I lose them it really doesn't matter. The problem is most parts have seen a few years of weather and are rusted on pretty good. After breaking a few of the tools I gave up and gave the box to the yard boy. I hit the pawn shops to complete the USA made Craftsman set I had from many years ago. Although I would hate to lose them. By the way, some of these Pawn shops think that American made Craftsmans are like the second coming. Holy crap, one of the ones uptown was asking 20.00 per wrench. A 1/4 inch socket set, complete, was 100.00. Yep, still in the counter case. Stay strong brothers

A couple years on now and it seems like they’re making a legitimate effort with SK. Not perfect but progress has been made. Also, I wonder if that is ti nitride finish on those things. I’m also surprised those are that well centered. I’m intending on making video just on wrenches this weekend.

You gotta appreciate a company that fills a void in the market... Deliberately manufacturing a low quality product with no attention to detail, quality, precision, or fit and finish... Proudly made in China... It doesn't work, it doesn't fit, the steel is soft as peanut butter and it won't last but it's pretty cheap. So you can save money while losing money all at the same time. 👍

Let’s see a yield to failure Wrench Test Of all manufacturers! That’s the only way To see the strength and Durability of each manufacturers wrenc Quality! The Den Of Tools 🐻 did a wrench Test to failure and The Chinese made Craftsman wrench Did very good! The Flat Rate Mechnic Also did a wrench test To failure that’s worth Watching before you Buy a new set of wrench’s!

Ya, I'm not a fan of these tests because they don't accurately show the true value especially when you're talking about corrosion on fasteners its more simulation than reality-based as a technician I find that a bad fastener can be removed by a pair of locking pliers sometimes better than any wrench the situations that require a good wrench can be few and far between. Those videos are more entertaining than the real world.

DuraTech claims to have a lifetime warranty but their amazon reviews and Q&A sections are littered with reports from customers that they can't get their tool warrantied. Were it not for that I'd be more open to trying something like this which is more seldom used.

Man, for the price, less than $80 for full set of metric and SAE wrenches with a roll. Great to throw in the recovery bag for off-roading etc. Also really like their super thin double open end set. Their mini wrench set sucks.

There’s certain things in life that shouldn’t be gold. Gold ring? Sure! Gold teeth? NO. Gold tools? Eh, probably not…. I unless it was a special edition Snap-on ratchet that I won in a contest (I don’t think I’d purchase one outright). Another entertaining and informative A++ video! Hello Henry!!!

💔Henry the parrot dog. 🫂🤝 My little buds name was Brownie, it’s amazing how much dog you can get In such a little package. They don’t come around every day, it’s going to take a few years before another personality like that comes around again. Probably just when we aren’t looking, and when we aren’t thinking about taking on another dog. My heart goes out to you chad. it’s been 3 years for me, and it still stings.
