While at SEMA Show 2021 we stopped by the Durofix booth to check out their 12V RW1216 3/8" Cordless Ratchet. This extended-reach ratchet is powered by its 12-volt battery and delivers up to 65 ft-lbs of loosening torque to the 3/8" anvil. Hi Brother Tim, I have this same cordless ratchet too. I love it. It’s strong with up to 120 foot pounds of manual torque. The head or body won’t snap off like other little budget cordless ratchets. I just break the nuts, bolts and screws manually and run them out or in with this Durofix ratchet and it is awesome. You can not beat it for the price. I wanted the Snap On Brute, but didn’t have like $450.00 to spend. I’ve been using my Durofix since January and it’s been working perfect. The Durofix company in here in Rancho Cucamonga, Southern California. 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸

This just helped me decide I don’t need the Milwaukee fuel version and this is the better choice

I like the compact head. I have the Milwaukee version and the head is often too big to get into tight areas.

Hello again Tim Thank you for another Great Video. After looking this up on the internet. This mostly a Amazon purchase. How is there warranty. I know with Amazon involved, the playing field is more level. Although, the company site does not give a price. I did get to read up on the ratchet. How does this compare to other ratchets? I don't expect high numbers. And the warranty versus other tool frame. Anyhow, thank you again

I like my snap on long reach, however that look as good as SO. Drag for me is to cross the border to U.S. I'll definitely buy one on my way to buffalo

Interesting! I keep seeing this brand everywhere all the sudden. Are they new to automotive tools making a big push to compete with popular brands?

Yes, and no. They've been making other "brands" for years, and the Durofix name is also big in Asia and Europe. In the past few months/year, they're pushing into the USA as well. Solid brand at great prices.

Is this the same as the ACDelco/Harbor Freight unit? If so thats a plus in my book to interchange batteries, and as a helpful plug for Durofix, they offer a better warranty than HF does.

It is not the same as the harbor this brand is made in Taiwan I got a 1/4 one and other tools labeled AC delco very good. Been using them a while. I recently got the drill as well - the most handy is the 1/4 anvil impact very compact and powerful.

@@mt1885 I looked it up, all 3 are the same tool. Amazon even has the ACdelco being "made by Durofix". Not that thats a bad thing as these tools have been getting good reviews on forums and group's. I'm looking at picking one up now

Durofix definitely makes the ACDelco tools. You can probably even see the ACD tools in this video, they were in the same booth. I'm not sure if they make the HF unit. Which one are you talking about? Thanks for watching.
