I think you’re getting too caught up, without considering what it was like to work in that environment first hand. If your character isn’t pulling views or meeting quotas you get pulled instantaneous like a Thanos snap. The pressure is ridiculous and there weren’t other Entertainment industries like WWE or perhaps they weren’t as big... Anyways, AEW will give not just wrestlers, but wrestling fans back what we’ve always wanted and what WWE has lacked, since allowing Hollywood writers to write their scripts. I think you’re taking what he said and trying to apply it as a diss to WWE’s legacy in its entirety, when that’s simply not the case. Not sure whether it was a work since there was time to blade himself during the Brandi interference. On top of that, it matched his attire and is somewhat symbolic of/represented the attitude era where blood was prevalent. Could've even a very very well concealed blood pack because he was gushing even way late into the match which had me very very concerned and skeptical because I (and probably many others) have never someone bleed so much for so long and yet still be able to wrestle a fast paced action packed match. Could also have been a work gone wrong (cut himself too deep) or an actual accident but whatever it is, it was a damn excellent match. You'd never thought that someone who probably has accumulated a ton of ring rust by not having action and also being over 50 to be able to move and perform at such a high level. Daddy Rhodes is a proud father indeed.

I'm really not sure what will happen. I've watched wrestling all of my life, and was around for the Monday Night Wars. I think you have to obviously give the advantage to Vince, but seeing the attendance at Double or Nothing, and how hot that crowd was, I think if they keep this momentum going, Vince would be very stupid to write them off totally and not take them seriously. WWE is suffering a free fall in ratings right now, WWE fans hate the current product, and Vince has his own scandal brewing with allegations that he told Ashley Massaro (in the wake of her suicide) to keep quiet about allegedly being raped by US servicemen during a tribute to the troops event. If there was ever a time where WWE was vulnerable to a credible threat, this is it.

Omg nooooooo!!!! For me this is not a classic wrestling match. Don't lie to your self. That was a good match. But every body don't like bloody match, I don't. I had the occasion to show a real professional wrestling match and I show a kenny/Okada or a ibushi/ Kenny or a almas/gagano or a Adam Cole VS gagano . In my case, a real wrestling match doesn't need too much of blood. A real wrestling match needs to tell a Story with professionalism. Here, I was in the match. They told a great story, but without the blood the match was OK

He's not going anywhere anytime soon. Before double or nothing he said that even though he is 50 this is the best he has ever felt, his injuries have all healed from DDP yoga and his lifestyle change - going clean / sober, etc. He can obviously still go in the ring. No reason to expect that unless he suffers a bad injury, Dustin could wrestle a few more years at least for AEW. Like he said, as long as he is healthy, feels good, can still go, and the fans want to see him, he will keep going.
