Great video Cliff. So much work was in the making of these beautiful clocks. Well done for keeping them alive. Regards Kevin

This is one of the clearest clock disassembly vids on the net. Love clocks, built the Wilding wood clock. Needs some work. Also working on the Isaacs clock but this is on hold till I finish building my dividing head. Thanks for posting!

Thats very kind Juan, I have only built one clock from scratch, my own design, long time ago now, most definitely a labour of love, all the best with everything, Cliff

Great Cliff, I've never had anything to do with clock mechanisms so I learned a lot. My Grandad gave me a set of spanners just like that, they have a file and a feeler gauge for ignition points and were for overhauling magnetos. Best wishes, Dean in Oxfordshire.

Thanks for putting this one up Cliff. Watching you take that apart is fascinating. I think your Grandfather's little spanners might magneto spanners. Looking forward to part 2. Cheers, Alan.

Hi Cliff, love the video.... I have just acquired a zannse clock with the same movement.. I've cleaned it all and oiled it.. But I cannot get the pendulum to swing.. I set it off but it just slows down and stops... Its on the wall level but nothing??.. I'm lost mate, can you help.
