Again, thanks Cliff, very educational. Not sure I would be brave enough to actually strip a clock down like that but I certainly enjoy learning how to. Cheers, Alan.

I just got one of these clocks and it appears it isn't working but the wife wants to keep it. We will see if I can get it functioning again.

Hello Joe, Nice to hear from you, I'll be back in the shed very soon, Been a bit of illness in the family and some major house repairing, had to put a new roof on the conservatory, taken up all my workshop time, nearly all back to normal now, so should be doing something soon, Look after yourself and keep away from the "Lurgi", all the best, Cliff

Hi Cliff, A couple of ?s. Please explain again why you use two plastic containers, one, with holes in you Ultrasonic cleaner? Where did you get the neat oiler pen? What brand are your tweezers? Why did you pry the cam off of the center post? I always leave it on. Love your videos. Do you ever do Cuckoos?
@CliffsShed
@CliffsShed 3 жыл бұрын
Hello Robert, The containers are just so I can lift out the inner one and drain it back and dry the parts, I got very lucky with the oiler, a friend who was retiring gave it to me, brand new never used, its a Bergeon! and the tweezers are dumont, bit pricey but fling bits far less frequently. It is usualy ok to leave the cannon on, but it does mean you can't clean or inspect the bush "properly" :-) All the best, Cliff

@@CliffsShed freezing mate! Can't wait for the warmer months to roll around. Keeping busy in the workshop though and keeping that gas heater on ;) I have 2-3 of your vids to catch up on. Not sure what's going on there, I think there have been more videos from everyone recently, and being in the workshop means I have less time for watching! Catch you later Cliff. Cheers, Craig

On the 13th of August KZfaq turned off email notifications for computer users. There is very little point in being subscribed, if we won't get notified... that stupid little bell on in the KZfaq screen isn't going to do it. Every creator, who wants to keep his subscribers, should insist that KZfaq brings these notifications back. (and kick the idiot that dreamt up this daft idea out on the street!) Paddy
