Tomorrow is New Year's Day - so what better way to finish off 2018 than with a really fun hairstyle 🎉 This video tutorial is for my January Braid Box hairstyle: A Dutch Side Braid (or Elsa Braid) with Snowflake Charms ❄️(If you don't know about my monthly Braid Box go check it out at www.braidboxbyerin.com/ )
This month's kit includes these beautiful snowflake charms and a crochet tool to thread them onto the hair like beads. You will see in the video I actually do the braid first, and then add the charms in after. This makes it easier than having to pause frequently and add the charms while also holding your spot in the braid.
A couple of tips, be gentle when you pull the hair through the charms. If you meet any resistance, don't force it - just take a smaller amount of hair and try again 😊You can also trying wetting the sections with water 💦before sliding them through the charm ❄️
