Nice work. Those look cool as hell. I think I'd rough up the underside prior to stitching though. Why beat up fresh stitching with 60 grit or a wire brush if you don't have to??

Did you know that type of flip-flop sandle has been around for at lest 2000 years? My Wife and I saw the deadsea scrolls and every thing that was in the caves was also on display and some child left their flip-flop sandles behind. They were made with just two pieces of leather and the straps that held the sandles on the foot. Being Biblical minded I thought of Simon who was a tanner and aposrle Peter staded at his house.
