I have severe COPD and I purchased a e bike last summer. It has given me so much joy to get out and enjoy the freedom to ride around and have some independence again. I don’t know what I’ll do if my city banned e bikes. My world would get a lot smaller.

I ride my manual bicycle on the sidewalk all the time because I do not want to get run over by someone on their phone. However, I always slow down in congested areas and yield to pedestrians and other traffic.

She was an educator and an educator of special needs children; Yet she failed to do or ignored the risk assessment riding a bicycle in the dark requires and wear the proper safety equipment. I can't believe that a community is going to banned ebikes. I aw it on the news and it's unfortunately that the lady lost her life. But she should've worn a helmet. Now people in that town are taking away fun. I own a scooter and I always wear a helmet. Parents who spent $1,000's of dollars on a ebike and now the community wants to banned them because of an accident. That's is crazy.
