She wasn't " killed by a 12-year-old", she died in an accident that was a collision with a 12-year old. Why does the news say shit like that? Twist it, taint the views of the viewers...

I'm sorry the elderly Woman died , but shouldn't she have been wearing a helmet . First they came for our racing drones now it's our E-Bikes , I don't ride like a jackass on my ebike or go too fast when I'm around pedestrians . It seems that EBike manufacturers haven't been making their "Campaign Contributions" "payments" to this mayors office . All the politicians on one side were totally against being able to sell teslas in their state , now they love elon .

First off My heart goes out to that woman and her family may she rest in peace….12 year old child “wearing a helmet”collides with a older adult “without a helmet” Adult sadly passes away, how dare that irresponsible young child!! Let’s ban e-bikes! Seems like a lack of true accountability here.

I’m from Canada and I ride a ebike I ride a 12000W ebike and I make sure that I have head light tail light and signal I wear a full face helmet and reflective jacket lights, and signals should be mandatory all around it was sad she died, but she should have worn a helmet. Thank you.

On a side note. As a kid on a bike in Chicago growing up, I had a car blow through a red light, hit me on my bike and sent me flying through the air into the middle of the intersection. I landed on my forehead and still have a dent in my skull to this day. There was no emergency meeting held by the mayor of the city. The mayor never even heard about it. I think this small town is

you're opening clips seem to show kids on what looks to be super 73's, 12 year olds are not responsible enough to ride bikes that do 30mph.

The minimum age required to ride an ebike is 16 not 12. Don't punish everyone for the few who are irresponsible.

Test riding my new ebike on my street and a neighbor is reversing quickly out of their driveway. He saw me as his truck is out the driveway, stops and says sorry. I wave it off as I was paying attention but someone else not aware could easily have been hit or crashed I to them. It takes common sense from anyone. Banning is definitely not the solution.

Got news for you. I ride an e bike and normal cyclists zoom by me all the time on trails w/o any bell or warning that they're about to pass me. I don't see them getting banned. Kids should not be riding these e bikes, get some exercise by pedaling. Don't be so damn lazy.
