Being a business man it is unusual to be frank & straight. This gentleman seems to be an exception. For a change, in this interview, the interviewee is both casual & natural vis vis the interviewer.

Songs only super duper hit. Movie was run average. Some areas what thry did naa...... after interwel they run as first part. Actual first part run as after interwel. So gone average.

Really loved this series. He is a really good narrator- speaks with numbers and facts and to the point. First time you an interview has factual backing without being politically correct and praising everyone. Suresh sir- really comes across as a pragmatic person with integrity

Very interesting interview. One glaring avoidable practice in most of our Tamil culture is that we refer to a college educated or rich people in the society as ‘avar” whereas everyone else is referred to as “avan.” This happens irrespective of the age. The speaker is no exception. Around 8: mark he refers to the accountant as avar and the gentleman with the same years of experience as a peon as avan. This is not to nick pick on an individual but a gentle reminder for all of us to respect each other better. Again, don’t know if this is a city centric culture

I was skeptical, but listened to it again in slow speed while observing his lip movement. He clearly says "Avarum 50 varusham velapaathavaru". However, I acknowledge your point. He in fact referred to aachi's character as "low" and once again later mentioned something like "low class" audience.

@@thetwooptions Thank you. I usually don’t add comments, my bad. It is heartening to know that someone not alone read it, but took the time to respond. You raised the other valid point of using the term “low class,” and I was thinking about it too. But didn’t want to touch upon too many things. This low/high class grouping is the true caste system that is prevalent, not just in India, but all over the world. In the west they use a more elegant term called “upwardly mobile” to arrive at the same level of segregation and discrimination. Unfortunately the colonialists have gone but colonial mentality is still alive. Mr. Lakshmanan does a very good job. I don’t know if the producers read these comments. They can certainly do their part to avoid usage of such terms. Their messaging has a wider reach.

I think the class usage is universal. In centers also they classify as A center, B center and C center. They dont mean it but from a business stand point they use it to profile the movie and its connect with audience so that they can price it. Unfortunate side of our society

Yes, he is referring to Nithya Kalyana Perumal temple. There is one another temple called thirumanancheri near Kumbakonam. Very power full indeed as I've seen a couple of my friends got married within a few weeks of visiting the temple, who were earlier waiting for several years.
