I install and test out the Integy Titanium Rods for the E Revo 2.0. I don't recommend these for jumping. I think they may be made for racing.
The part number is T3242Black.

Thanks for the video dude. I highly doubt those are actually Titanium though, if they were you would likely be looking at a price of about $100 USD per rod at least and that little car would not likely bend them even doing cart wheels. Generally Titanium is twice as strong as 6061 T6 Aluminium. Although it also depends on how the rods are physically shaped for the specific geometry of the vehicle as well. Keep the videos coming dude✌

Wow I'm actually impressed by the amount of abuse the ERevo can take with what I could call a fair minimal damage. Sure rod ends popping is annoying but they are cheap as beans, buy a lot of them and take them with you on the field. Easy to replace. I've got the original ERevo and I love it to the bits...... and I take with me a set of rod ends just in case ;) . After almost three years of abuse I changed a couple in the push rods and I've rebuilt the shocks a couple of times. Never popped a shock rod end, but they come with the rebuild kit so I just replace them as well when doing the shocks. Enjoy and thanks for sharing.

I'm sorry but in my opinion this is a fatal flaw for this truck. You shouldn't have to deal with these rods breaking and bending when doing jumping. That is unacceptable in my opinion and the reason I decided not to buy it. Go look at Rich duperbashs channel and he launches his Arrma trucks 20-30 feet in the air daily with not many breakages. This truck wouldn't survive 1 jump the ones he sends them off.

My friend has a notorious and compared to the e revo that thing handles like crap and breaks constantly. More manoeuvrable in the air by far but on the floor the revo handles much nicer. Only problem I have with my revo is I lunched the center driveshaft and pop the occasional rod/shock end. I just keep plenty with me as it's a 5 minute fix

I started watching this video and was like "damn those look sweet, hope they hold up. If they do I'm getting some myself". The disappointment after I seen what was happening to them when you were running them. I am like you, getting tired of the rod ends pulling out. So much so I ended up superglueing the rod ends on the stock rods. They are holding up for now as far as that goes. It always seems to be a specific rod end that did it to me all the time. Even when I replace the ends. Like for example. My right rear keeps pulling out at the nuckle and my right front at the chassis end. I did find rod ends (plastic ones tho) that are like a half inch longer meaning more thread engagement. They don't really help on the OEM rods as they don't have the threads long enough. I found rods that were threaded almost 3/4 of an inch on either end that worked. I haven't tested them yet tho as I had to get another 5 cell battery pack for my Revo 3.3. It isn't hard to fix the problem when the rod ends pull out, just gets annoying. I'm doing trial and error just as you are. If I figure out a solution to mine, I'll let you know.

I see. I thought I read something about blue or green? front and purple springs ( in the back?) as an essential upgrade. I'll have to double check. Either way, I don't think I'll try the new tt rods unless maybe we can see new rod ends or maybe it's unnecessary to do the entire mod. Weird they bend so easily. I drive my trucks just like you. They take a beating. Believe it or not, my Redcat.... TRMT10E is most durable for the cost so far. Metal skids, new springs, new wheelies and roll cage and while the esc tries to stutter when its hot, Redcat sent me a new one anyway I've yet to install. I love my Traxxas models but very impressed that the Redcat is still going strong after I've over-juiced a 2wd slash and exploded parts and lately knocked screws loose from my ER-2.0 on the ramp.

@@outsourcedrc are you running stock fluid in the shocks? Haven't bent one since I super glued the rod ends to the metal rods. (not inside the threads though. That's a no-no. I've heard if you're running heavier shocks than normal, the rods will bend. It's better to bottom out than to let 16+ pounds land on a cantelever suspension set to stiff lol. No limit straps here. Just a couple zip ties that just slightly limit the extent of the suspension unload, just before they're fully extended.

@@outsourcedrc yikes. Id send it to Traxxas. I've taken mine to the local skate park and hit big air on both low and high ride heights, and never bent a rod. Everything on the suspension stopped breaking once I dabbed super glue on all the rod ends. That was it. No more bent rods. Also started doing landings a bit smoother. Point being is that if in your situation, I'd be concerned if they were still getting bent.

Just like the Stampede, you can't put enough money in this RC to make Jump worthy (except for the Marvels of Tough Designed Engineering that are the Xmaxx and TRX-4). You are better off just playing in the grass and a bit of drifting in the dirt if you don't want to keep breaking that high stress point. You might want to look at the Arrma Kraton,I know it is not a good looking truck, but you can jump all day on the grass and there are no high stress points that will cause you grief when you are just trying to have a little air time fun.

I put bump stops in the shocks to help with the rod ends popping off instead of the limiter straps. It just seems like mine breaks something every time I take it out. I bend that aluminum chassis brace pretty easy as well.

Rod ends tend to get bored or stretched out from what I've seen. I don't see any pop off yet and I hope I don't. I probably baby this truck vs my couple others but still hit 12' airs and because I use Floureon and Gens Ace packs other than Traxxas, I get disconnects and broken solder joints in adapters. I can land and about 10% of the time I have to plug in power again. :-/ My aluminum chassis brace does throw out screws and I put in on top of the stock one but I haven't bent it yet. lol. Maybe I need to try harder cause I bet it would be fun!+ Still on the same servos and esc but for the cost of new no-brand servos these days, I really wouldn't mind testing something different and cheaper just to see. I'd like to see the new wheelie bar you tried. I want one too.
