Tim and Jose will lead the pack. I figure one of them will get at least ten games. Hard to tell at this point who will get more: Tim for starting or Jose for sending Tim to the ground. I figure both managers will get 1-3.

I am a White Sox fan, but the way they played this year baffles me. So what do they do? They agitate another team, which happens to be their arch rivials Cleveland Guardians. With that being said, here are my predictions on suspensions and length: 1. Tim Anderson - Up to 20 games (starting fight and reentering field again already been ejected) 2. Jose Ramirez - 2 games (fighting) 3. White Sox Manager Pedro - 5 games 4. Cleveland Guardians Manager Terry Franconia - 2 or maybe 3 games. (In my opinion, he should really never be suspended because he remembers what happened on Friday when Tim Anderson used his glove to push off another player hand off 2nd base to get player out to which was a bad call and Terry got ejected for it) *5. Cleveland 3rd base coach Mike Stabaugh - maybe 1 game 6. Emmanuel Chase - 1 game * Now terms of Mike 3rd base coach, I believe he should get fine. I also believe Major League Baseball will put heavy fines on Chicago White Sox for their Antics. There are no excuses for what they have been doing. I get it when White Sox lost 13 out of 15 games entering last night game but to do what they did Friday and last night, game is uncalled for and the league look into this and take appropriate action against White Sox. I know I am kind of harsh on the White Sox, but something has to be done.

So this looks like this happened because of the replay ump wrongly overturning the call the day before when Anderson got away with pushing the Guardian runners hand off the base. They don’t incorrectly overturn it this fight probably doesn’t happen. So good job replay ump instigating fights now.

The events leading to this fight started in 2022. The White Sox were sure the division was their birthright (see their Twitter account). In April, they came into Cleveland and there was an inning where the Guardians scored 10 runs before the White Sox recorded an out. This was aided by 2-3 Anderson errors. He heard it from the fans and flipped them off. Late in 2022, the White Sox came to Cleveland for a single-game make up and won it easily. This made them confident they would eventually overtake the youngest team in baseball to win the division. The White Sox started talking trash. The Guards then went into Chicago and swept the White Sox, reaching down their throat to steal their lunch, so to speak. The iconic play of that series was Amed Rosario beating out a routine grounder to third because Yoan Moncada moved like he was in a k-hole. This year, the White Sox are convinced they are getting revenge every time they beat Cleveland. For example, the White Sox post-game show made this claim when Chicago took two out of three in Chicago in April. Revenge indeed! Tim Anderson is having a shit year. He's an offense-only shortstop with one home run and a .577 OPS. Just garbage. So, Friday night, he blatantly pushes Rocchio off the bag after Rocchio hits a double. Not sure why the Guards didn't retaliate that night, but they won the game, so. ... Then today, this scrub Anderson picks a fight with the Guards' franchise player. Real Philly Flyers stuff, to send a scrub after a star. You can tell from the post-game interview that Josey was still shocked and didn't want to fight, but felt like he had to. Giving Josey any punishment would reward the absolute dogshit that Anderson pulled. A Josey suspension hurts the Guards, an Anderson suspension helps the White Sox. Give Anderson 20, fine Kopech, and be done with it.
@davidrosensin7985
@davidrosensin7985 11 ай бұрын
Solid write up. Quick addition: don't suspend Anderson. Please. I need that piece of shit to start contemplating putting together some offense so he can get traded. There were a few seasons where the ChiSox were winning in SPITE of him, but someone somewhere is an absolute buffoon and just keeps hurting the team by keeping that muppet around.

As for you not being a baseball fan, let me say this to you. When it comes to actually fighting on the field, theres more to it ( history) than what your seeing at the time! Ramirez told Anderson prior to this to lay off these younger players. Then in this game he was trash talking and the ump told him to stop. That doesn't happen often in the field in the big leagues. You'll see it on homeruns, but not so much on the field. Then Anderson put a hard tag on Ramirez, kept it on him, and STOOD OVER TOP of him! ! First time Ramirez has been ejected in his MLB career. Good day sir.

Well, we’ve just about reached the line where we will average at least 1 EJ for every day of the season. We’re barely into August. Sadly, these speak for themselves. I’ve been sucked into something like this once with a sub-varsity game. It really sucks when it’s only 2 umpires and the fight started on my partners watch (during the play no less) and he was a true rookie.

It's a lot easier when a fight breaks out in a high school game. Just grab the lineup card and write down the numbers of anyone who gets involved, and any player who leaves their dugout. If one team doesn't have enough surviving team members to keep playing, it's a forfeit.

So what I gathered is this: the MLB bungled the call in the previous game via a dumb technicality. The Guardians got hacked off and let Tim Anderson know they did not like his antics. So Tim Anderson started a fight and got humiliated. But most importantly, not a good look for the MLB when punches are thrown. If the MLB gets the call in the previous game correct, this fight never happens. So the MLB only has itself to blame. Great job, as always.
