I’m a Cub fan, yet I still love AJ’s take on this fight given that he got popped in a Cubs-Sox game many years ago and he isn’t afraid to talk about it. Major respect.

Tim is a mid tier (at best) SS who gets more attention for his mouth than his play. He pissed off a future HoFer and top 5 player in the AL year in and year out. This fight and the fallout was a microcosm of their careers.

Watching it in slow motion makes it even worse for Tim. You can see all his punches clearly miss. But whats worse you say? Tim eyes automatically close with the first contact of Jose's hand.
