@@baurko we are not in a English speaking society. Infact we are in a multi lingual society. It's not like all Indians/Pakistanis /Asians easily get band 7 and above. There are who struggle to get band 6 as well. It's not about the society, it's about the good base or foundation of education you get.

I practised for IELTS for 3 days. Reserved 1 day for reading, 1 for listening and 1 for writing. After preparing for 3 days I gave it and scored a score of 8. So I guess this channel is helpful.

I got an overall 7.5, S-8, L-8, W-7.5, R-7. Thanks to the whole team and I took the prep course and I am not regretting it. Followed all the videos on this channel and tried to complete listening and reading modules from the training and practice tests were very helpful.

Thanks Alex for the talk. Personally, I have a dictionary on my phone. So I always look through it to learn new words an try to use those words in my everyday communication and interaction. Furthermore, I always look up the meaning of strange words I come across daily.

I think the best way to learn any language is to get around its native speakers and one can learn the most of the everyday use of it. I haven't read a single word of my native language and I can say and interpret anything in it. There is no disagreement that english is an international language but it is giving over importance to memorize all of its dictionary and monopoly behind is the businesses in the form of IELTS and language courses

My questions: Task 1. Write a letter to your friend who resides in another country telling him about your intention to work there for a while. You should tell him why you want to work there. Ask him about working conditions, official working hours and minimum wage/pay. Task 2. Some people are of the opinion that educational success depends on having a good teacher. Others believe that it is the attitude of the student that leads to educational success. You are to discuss both views and give your own opinion. Speaking Cue card: Talk about historical buildings in your country. Location, what they are used for now, what they look like.

Hi Alex and Jay, thank you for your videos. Today was my IELTS GT exam and was awesome. Again thanks for your free videos. Topics: 1) Letter to your friend suggesting book you read recently. Tell about that book. Tell how it will be useful to him/her. Tell how they can get the book. 2) Some people think road safety has decreased due to more speed on the roads. Others opine that there are other ways to increase road safety. Discuss both views and provide your opinion. 3) Cue card. Discuss about an advice you gave to someone recently. Thanks a lot again. Hi Krushi, Firstly well done on the other skills - amazing scores! This 6.5 is SUCH a common issue. In our experience, if you’re confident that you met the criteria for the band you need (in all 4 criteria), and your score is just .5 off, challenging the score is a good idea. Having said that, it’s more money to pay and no guarantee so it’s a decision for you.

I practiced myself at home to improve my vocabulary so that I think I am getting little nervous about understand most of difficult world couldn't process my mind quickly so I decided to learn short of stuff like small world which I don't listen in my daily routin I want to speak as a negative speaker but unfortunately I need a friend who speak with me with their spare time
