Hello Jay, you are a star. I came across this video about 2 days to my exams and I tried my best to pick up your tips. It was super helpful, and I made an overall band of 8.5 in my exam. Paraphrasing helps in many ways: it helps you understand the structure of English sentences; it helps you learn a variety of words and their families, and it constitutes good practice for academic writing.
