Just got out from yet another IELTS exam. The question prompt for the second essay was a really hard one: it asked for describing and justifying a certain trend, evaluating whether the phenomenon is a positive or a negative one, providing reasoning for that, too, and also providing examples from my experience or knowledge. I used to have the impression that normally it doesn't go beyond asking for two things within one task, but here I essentially got three. And that's for a General Training, not Academic.

?????I have question that if your writing style effects the band scores???? Because I write "r" as it is but my teacher says that I should write the cursive one. He always deduct my scores by circling those r's and many other letters which I have learnt during my schooling and I can't change them suddenly. Please reply me. I really want to know this.

At 5:36, it appears that the examples you use to illustrate each sentence type is misplaced. I prefer to study online because it is more efficient. ( This is a complex sentence not a compound one.) Because of its efficiency, I prefer to study online. ( A simple sentence not a complex one) Because of its efficiency, I prefer to study online, and I do this with E2. ( A compound sentence not a compound-complex sentence)
