Maintenance suggestion. When putting fasteners into dissimilar metals, use neversieze or even some anti galvanic bedding might be available ..? cause you will most likely be the next guy.... Or just good karma 😁

Happy New year and safe sailing. I just finally got my new kayak, but it's a fishing kayak. It has a side mounted transom for my 2.5 Suzuki outboard, and a single outrigger, that I actually designed. So this is my 1st season, fishing for fun. I more of a boater, and just catch and release. I got off topic. I wanted to say, I've watched all your repairs, your little enclosure your dad designed for you, forgot the name. Lol..We're in a different sport, but both on the beautiful ocean. I love how you attack thing's alone out at sea. You're a one of a kind woman to do all you do mostly alone. Be safe, and healthy. God bless..😜🙏🙏

Just a little quibble with the distinction between line and rope on boats. Rope is rope while it is coiled up with no specific purpose. When it is cut and spliced for a specific purpose it becomes a line and is given a name to describe it's purpose.

Well done. One word of caution. Never use a bowline for life safety without an overhand safety knot. I really like seeing you handle your own problems, that's the way I brought up my girls too.
