Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is: A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures. The music video is a story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The live version is almost a "teaser" and not as good as this version. With Dimash, it is pointless to stick to Live versions as Dimash is the same Live, in Studio and in a Stairwell. 100's of fancams prove it. I love this video and song. Initially I was extra excited by the Gothic feel because I was hoping that he was 1 step closer to my dream of a future symphonic Metal song. Sadly, I just listened to his new release "Smoke", (no MV yet, likely because he is only days away from his Concert in Budapest) and he has hung a big left turn into a unique direction, that is too difficult to get my head around as of yet.🙄😂 When I've Got you is a stunning dark love song.
