I been here since 1952, God this band was great and I mean great. They made life somush better to live. I got all their albums in my closet, bought em when they come out. God I loved my life and the life I lived. It was a wonderful life then. We had it made. All people loved good music. It crossed color. I'm white and partied with black people all the time. The love songs brought all races together. I wish it would happen again.

Sorry about your leg. Joe Walsh was my favorite with the Eagles. When he left he really stood out. He was known as the Clown Prince. I have an album of Joe Walsh you might know; YOU CAN TUNE A PIANO BUT YOU CAN'T TUNE A FISH. How can anybody not love this guy. I hope you saved his autograph. I hope your life is good. I attended the Eagles' concert at Texas A&M on November 4, 1972, even though I was only 8 years old. My brother Michael was a freshman at A&M and part of the entertainment committee that booked the Eagles. My parents said, "Let's go see this event that Michael is involved with organizing." Initially, I resisted, but had to go. Funny how things changed when Glenn Frey put on his sunglasses and they started playing "Take it Easy." I was like, "I know this song!" Meanwhile, my dad was saying, "It's too loud, we need to leave." Haha.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Eagles, in Alpharetta, GA in 2008. Glenn Frey (pronounced Fry) was still alive. I took my mom and my daughter. They’re about my mom’s age, but their music transcends through time and age. Great reaction. My daughter, who was 20 at the time, said that was the best live band she’d seen, and I agreed.

The Eagles were, IMO the greatest band to come out of the seventies and they never wrote a bad song! Was definitely a favorite band thru the 70's. My mom's gf at work took her to a concert in the 2000's and i'm glad mom got to go see them live.

In the 70s Glenn Frye and Don Henley lived in a house where Jackson Browne lived downstairs in the basement apartment.

Just saw Jackson Browne in Vegas last week. I've seen him live 9 times in 4 different states. Best songwriter ever. Still writing new stuff.

LOVE that you found this and did a reaction! This video is just pure bliss, pure 70s good time denim long haired bliss. The girl at the beginning taking a toke and yelling "Joe Walsh!," also the girl at the end who does her move around 5:25 in when Glenn sings "shake it" Some of our moms and grandmas were having the time of their lives ;)

Yes, the EAGLES (Joe Walsh in particular) knew how to have a good time. He was notorious for trashing hotel rooms. People either love or hate the Eagles. I love 'em. Soundtrack of my youth. Listen to them warm up with harmonies with seven bridges road.

You cannot go wrong with just about any song they have ever done. Fabulous group, perfect instrumentation and great voices. Don Henley, the drummer here, was also a great vocalist and soloed some fine songs.
