Wtf did I just watch? You title it "15 things you didnt know" and half of the things you mention are just rumours. Regarding the watch collection, you should note that cultures in Russia and US are very different. I dont think Putin bought even one watch in his collection. When you help someone out in Russia, people give you gifts as a thank you, so considering how long Putin has been in charge, it doesnt surprise me seeing this collection. My mum has been an HR manager for 22 years and she has a diamond collection and she never purchased a single one of them. Also when Putin became a president in 1999, russia was pretty fucked up because of Yeltsin, so Putin had to deal with all the mafia and bandit trash. Obviously, you cannot defeat those by just being a correct politician, and he became a mafia himself, and got rid of almost all of them and appropriated their wealth. He then distributed the obtained wealth (factories, businesses, etc) among those he found legitimate. I believe a significant portion of the wealth remained with him. Think about it, if he kept those assets for himself, he would never have to even think about receiving a bribe, so why not? You lot keep accusing him of being corrupt. Is there any proof for that? Most of the money that he apparently possesses is got to be from 90s. One important thing that no american paper ever admits is that Putin took russia out of a shithole and made them a very powerful country. Also usa still havent proven that it was the Rus government that hacked their elections, come on it has been a year already, it takes a week at most to read the server logs and track the IP addresses. Usa want every country to suck their dick, and Russia is one of the very few countries to refuse to do so, thus american press wants everyone to hate russia. And americans still believe that every country's mindset is like theirs, so whenever they watch news about gay people in russia, they get triggered. Putin doesnt hate gay people, but he also doesnt necessarily like them. It is the people of russia that are very conservative and believe that everyone should be straight. It is the people of russia who beat up gays, not putin's administration. I also used to hate gay people until I lived abroad and made some cool gay friends. Obviously, you cant take every russian out of the country to have them exposed to western cultures, so just bare wiith it, world. If you are gay and happen to be in russia, just leave the country if you want a peaceful life, it isnt difficult to move abroad. Sorry about a long ass rant
