Thanks again for doing this version . You're correct, the sax solo isn't in any other versions that I'm aware of. It is long, but this is from a live concert and nobody wants it to end. My guess is that the sax is there to hide the beginning of the actual song being it's a live concert. I liked how you highlighted your favorite parts too. You were smiling even more than I had anticipated. I was smiling from beginning to end. Thanks for the shout out. Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.

My favorite song from this whole album! From the sax intro to Philip Bailey( the ultimate falsetto). And that darn percussionist is not human...lol

I love Barry Gibb but Philip Bailey’s falsetto and secret of going beyond falsetto is insane. Makes Barry sound like a Baritone. There is a term where he goes insanely high pitched. Its a gift that some have but not many.Philip is using what they call a ( whistle register.)His control if it is out of this world!!! Its insane that this song didn’t reach # 1.

Andrew was actually using a King Saxello back then. It was a soprano sax with a curved neck & bell that curves out after the lowest keys. It has a very different timbre from the typical straight or curved soprano saxes. Rahsaan Roland Kirk also used one. Grover Washington also had one. I don't know if Grover actually recorded with his.
