He may be too deep and just does not do only popular songs. I love how his knowledge of music and instruments informs his reaction. My only issue is he will get on one band for a long time, "ahem Faith No More" and if you are not a fan of the band that he is going deep on you may not go back later to see if he is reacting to anything else.

@@bear4482 of course I would love for him to do a deep dive on a band that I love also. His subscribers that are Faith No More fans are loving the mess out all the reactions he are doing for the band. Myself I have so many bands that I would love to see him do more of. Off of the top of my head Soundgarden and Rage against the machine. After seeing him react to Marvin Gaye recently I would also love to see more 70s R&B like Marvin Gaye, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield etc. I need to look in to getting on patreon but fear that my request would take forever to get to. I am sure he has a long queue at this point.

Maurice White, the Mastermind behind EW&F, pure musical genius. How can anyone not hear this and not get up and dance.

We need EWF Tuesdays! Maurice White, the founder of EWF had a interest in Egypt and all cultures and religions that give you insights into your inner self. That’s one reason why the music was so upbeat, and life affirming but not religious per se. Check out “All About Love” and you will hear his beliefs set to another 🔥 song. One of the first concerts I ever attended in Madison Square Garden. I still have my T shirt from this show. Not just black cookouts in the South, every party I ever went to in NY. 🤣

Let me tell you something young brother. I am a 60 year old white man from South Texas. This song spoke to my soul as well. Forget the bop and beat factor. Let’s talk melody, instrumentation , and lyrics. Can these guys today replicate it with the same quality?

As a Latino man in his early 40’s this was before my time, but my mom would put some of their music and it didn’t really hit me till I was in my late 20’s. I got really into them from that point on, it’s music that speaks to the soul.

This healed my wounded ear after trying to watch your Faith No More reaction this morning...different strokes.😂 Earth Wind and Fire were spiritual and inspirational and always uplifting to me and continues to be. I am more grateful to have seen them live than having seen Elvis Presley.

I've got some nostalgia for this song too. It was a huge hit when I was a kid back in the seventies. And what an arrangement too -- funky bass line, horns, strings, and super sweet harmonies. I really like those really high pitched vocal flourishes towards the end of the song. I'm guessing that's Phillip Bailey. I saw EW&F in concert in 1999 and they still rocked. For a taste of some musical innovation that might have inspired EW&F check out The Spinners "It's a Shame" from 1970. That song does not disappoint. And then check out the reggae version of that which Alton Ellis dropped in 1971 for a worthy twist on that vibe.

What world do you young people live in?? So sad that you are not exposed to the genius of our people. EWF represented the spiritual and historical roots of "us". They are musical geniuses with limitless talent...far BEYOND a band or group. To experience their concerts back in the 197os was heaven sent and a galaxy awakening to our people... It was the African diaspora gathering throughout the universe (not the planet, the universe.) ✨✨✨✨

This song is talking about a man's ability to make his life exactly what he wants through his own imagination. If you can think it in your mind, you can manifest it. The vibration and frequency of your own thoughts and beliefs will attract other people who vibrate within their own spirit on that same level. Thus co-creation begins and all is possible.

Maybe a kalimba is what you are hearing? ...their music is timeless! Philip Bailey recorded a couple of Gospel albums too. Back then it was important to hear the lyrics without an effort...unlike today's rap. Music is known to soothe the savage breast and conversely disrupt peace of mind.
