I just purchased this DB system because of your video. It was super simple to install. I got newer full throttle batteries. This is great system I just leave my jackery plugged into the back of the 4Runner connected to a cigarette lighter powered by the secondary battery. So all night power when overlanding and sleeping in vehicle

I have this on my 2018 TRD ORP. Not a single issue in over two years. Have the two Odyssey Extremes. Excellent customer support from Shane. Had to have the battery support reinforced, since Toyota didn’t design it with the added weight in mind. Now it’s rock solid and will outlast me :) Highly recommended!

Very cool. I was considering getting a dual battery from genesis for the Tacoma with the reinforcement. Just haven’t gotten around to ordering yet. Trevor is in love with his system.

ok so heres the deal. the best dual battery system on the market is redarc There isn't even a comparison. Quality control Power management Longevity Reliability Tested and true to it's form - it comes at a hefty cost, but worth every $$$ Now mind you this is the* best plug in play' DBs on the market i can find right now. I don't know how it would fare under deep water crossings or harsh winters etc.. Great video Cheers from deep in the forest BC :)

People are saying this extra weight is too much for the fender linings. Too heavy. Causing cracking. Any comment on that?

So does it block the oil fill? Also the clutter of it all would give me anxiety.

No it doesn’t block the oil fill and once you thing about what you are getting out of it. It’s totally worth it.
