I was 15 years old in the 89 and I would ride my bicycle to the block from Rosedale and if anyone on here knows that’s a long ride on a bicycle. No one ever bothered me

"The Block, Baltimore's erogenous zone" What a hoot! 😆 Good one BHC! Sharing this to "Drew's adventures", a friend and fan of Baltimore residing in Australia. Maybe it'll spread there like some wild newfangled STD! Stayin tuned! 👍🤠

In the book "Goodfella's" that the movie was based on, Henry Hill said he often visited the Block when the mob was running smuggled cigarettes from Maryland to New York.

Different businesses but the block is still there. Part of the reason police headquarters was built next to it. The block ain’t going anywhere long as people still like sex.

Yeah, I was too young to experience Pollock Johnny's in the 80s. There was a PJs on Greenmount and 32nd next to woolworths back then.

At 0:05, the news caster Ken Matz refers to "the final segment". If you could find and post those other "segments" that would really be awesome BHC! 🤞😎

Most of those businesses survived until the 90s. The police didn't do much. I saw a guy selling drugs right across the street from the police headquarters once.
