This is how I easily adjust the shock absorber preload on the Honda XL650V and XL700V Transalp.
I'm sure a lot of people will ask about SAG. Road bikes have different SAG than offroad bikes, and the Transalp can do both, so it's up to you and your use. There's plenty of videos in KZfaq. As for me, I first test with the standard settings on my favourite terrains, and then do a couple of adjustments until I reach my favourite one. Cheers!
